Turkish - Iranian Relations: Prospects and Uncertainty

Iran and Turkey are two key regional actors that separately play a role in multiple geographies in terms of both geographical weight and tenets of identity. Geographically speaking, these two countries are simultaneously influential in political-security issues in different areas such as the Fertile Crescent. When it comes to identity, by making a link between their principles and values to reg...

Uncertainty and Uncertainty Management in EFL Translators

This study tried to examine EFL translators’ uncertainty and uncertainty management strategies through employing think aloud procedures. The participants of this study were some MA andBA translators selected from several universities in Iran. To this aim, a proficiency test was firstly administered among the volunteers. Then, think aloud protocol and retrospective interview were used to collect...

State Extended Uncertainty Relations

A scheme for construction of uncertainty relations (UR) for n observables and m states is presented. Several lowest order UR are displayed and briefly discussed. For two states |ψ〉 and |φ〉 and canonical observables the (entangled) extension of Heisenberg UR reads [∆p(ψ)][∆q(φ)]+[∆p(φ)][∆q(ψ)] ≥ 1/2. Some possible applications of the new inequalities are noted.

Measurement uncertainty relations

Measurement uncertainty relations are quantitative bounds on the errors in an approximate joint measurement of two observables. They can be seen as a generalization of the error/disturbance tradeoff first discussed heuristically by Heisenberg. Here we prove such relations for the case of two canonically conjugate observables like position and momentum, and establish a close connection with the ...

Report on uncertainty relations

The uncertainty principle introduced by Heisenberg in 1927. This principle states that one can not know the exact outcome of two incompatible measurements. It illustrates the di erence between the classical and quantum mechanics. In this report we study the uncertainty relations that exist in the literature.
